Why Choose Leather & Vinyl Care

Mobile leather and vinyl restoration for furniture, vehicles, and commercial upholstery across NYC and Long Island. Here is what sets us apart.

Mobile On-Site Service

We come to you — Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau County, and Suffolk County on Long Island. Your furniture stays in the room. Your vehicle stays in the driveway. No logistics, no transport risk, no shop drop-off.

Precise Color & Grain Matching

We hand-blend pigments on-site to match your leather's specific shade and sheen. For panel replacement work, we also evaluate the natural grain pattern and texture of the original material — not just the color. A repair that belongs visually requires both.

Professional-Grade Materials

We use commercial restoration compounds, professional pigment systems, and flexible protective finishes — not consumer repair kits. Material choice matters for durability, appearance, and how the repair wears under normal use.

Most Jobs Completed in a Single Visit

Surface repairs, color restoration, seam repair, and many structural repairs are completed in one on-site visit. If a project needs inspection, curing time, or a different recommendation, we explain that before scheduling.

Furniture Restoration

Sofas, sectionals, recliners, dining chairs, antique armchairs, and vintage upholstered pieces. We repair scratches, tears, burns, color loss, seam failures, cracking, and structural damage — leather, faux leather, and vinyl — on furniture of all types and ages.

Leather Sofa Repair

Pet Damage Repair

Cat scratches, dog claw marks, and chewing damage on leather sofas and furniture. Surface-level damage is filled and color-matched in a single visit. For panels shredded through, we source matched replacement leather and fabricate new panels. Either way, the sofa does not need to leave your home.

Pet Damage Repair

Luxury & Collector Vehicle Interiors

Our published project work includes Porsche, Ferrari, and BMW interiors, and we service other premium and collector vehicles when restoration is appropriate. Factory leather, semi-aniline hides, and custom-dyed interiors require careful technique and color work — not the same approach used on standard automotive leather.

Luxury Auto Repair

Commercial & B2B Work

Restaurant booths, hotel lobby seating, office chairs, salon and treatment chairs, medical and dental office upholstery, and property management furniture. We schedule around business hours to minimize disruption and provide written quotes for multi-unit jobs.

Commercial Restoration

Honest Repair vs. Replacement Recommendations

Not every damaged piece of leather furniture or vehicle interior is worth repairing. Bonded leather that has fully delaminated across a large area, heavily worn hides where the leather structure itself has broken down, or pieces where the cost of proper repair approaches the cost of replacement — these are situations where we say so, clearly and before any work begins.

We provide a free written estimate before starting any job. If repair is not the right answer for what you have, we tell you that at the estimate stage — not after the work has started. If the in-person inspection reveals a materially different condition than the photos showed, we pause and explain the revised recommendation before proceeding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you come to my home for leather repair?

Yes. Every repair is performed on-site at your location — home, apartment, office, or parking facility. Your furniture never leaves the room and your vehicle never leaves your driveway. We bring all materials and equipment with us.

Can you repair faux leather and synthetic upholstery as well as genuine leather?

Yes. We work on genuine leather, bonded leather, faux leather, vinyl, and synthetic upholstery. Each material requires different compounds and techniques. We assess the material before recommending an approach so the repair is appropriate for what you have.

How accurate is your color matching?

We hand-blend pigments on-site, testing against undamaged or least-worn areas of the piece before applying to the repair. We evaluate color, sheen level, and — where relevant — grain pattern or texture. The goal is a repair that reads naturally with the surrounding material under normal light.

Do you recommend replacement when repair is not the right answer?

Yes, always. If a piece of furniture or a vehicle interior is damaged beyond what professional repair can address cleanly and durably, we say so clearly during the estimate — before any work begins or any money changes hands. We do not take on jobs where the result would not meet our standard.

Do you work on luxury and collector vehicles?

Yes. Our published project work includes Porsche, Ferrari, and BMW collector and performance vehicles, and we also service other premium interiors. Luxury vehicle leather — including Nappa and semi-aniline hides — requires careful material assessment and more precise color work than standard automotive leather. We approach each vehicle accordingly.
